OTR Careers
OTR Careers is a transportation-focused apprenticeship program designed to create diverse, skilled professionals in the rapidly evolving automotive and advanced vehicle technology industries. In partnership with On the Road Garage, Aurora, Dallas College, and other industry leaders, we provide hands-on training that addresses the critical skills gap in the rapidly evolving automotive industry and empowers the next generation of technicians while breaking down barriers to entry in a traditionally male-dominated field.
Our Department of Labor-registered apprenticeship program serves individuals ages 18-35, with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently, 20% of our apprentices are female and 66% are BIPOC, compared to the industry standard of 97% male collision repair technicians. Through a structured curriculum and paid, on-the-job training, participants gain expertise in collision repair, EV and ADAS calibration, and cutting-edge vehicle technologies—all while earning a competitive wage.
